🌟 The birth of the Saviour!

Savior–yes, the Messiah, the Lord–has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!”
Luke 2:11 NLT

The angels were announcing the birth of Jesus and they were declaring that He is the Messiah (the Christ) and the Saviour. Jesus is the Promised One, the Messiah who was foretold of in the Hebrew scripture (Isaiah 7:14) who would come and save His people. Jesus came to save (or rescue) all mankind (Luke 2:10; John 3:16) from the destruction that we were trapped in because of Adam’s sin, and He came to restore us to a place and position of being right with God (Romans 5:12, 14, 17-19; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus is your Saviour! Whether you’re facing lack, sickness, depression, fear or whatever negative challenge – Jesus is your Saviour and wants to rescue you! Don’t try to overcome things by yourself – Greater is He in you to help you overcome (1 John 4:4; Romans 8:32) and live the abundant life of victory (John 10:10; Romans 5:17). Jesus came to radically change the way that people can live. We no longer have to be slaves and suffer – we are children of God!
